Description:

For many, the memory of the Porsche 964 Turbo does not begin in a showroom, but on screen. In the film Bad Boys, it moves through Miami, low and tense, never entirely predictable. Not a polished presence, but a car with character — direct, raw, and slightly elusive. The image endured, not because it was staged, but because it felt right. That same generation emerged at a time when Porsche was still building without filters. The 964 Turbo is not a compromise between comfort and performance, but a coherent evolution of the 911 concept, with an air-cooled turbocharged engine that delivers its power in distinct, tangible phases. It is a car that demands attention and involvement — and precisely for that reason, it has retained its relevance. It is within this context that this particular example should be understood.

Originally delivered in Germany on July 17, 1991, its trajectory begins clearly and without interruption. On October 26, 1994, it changed ownership, still within Germany. Since November 6, 2000, the car has been in Belgium, where it remained with one owner for a long period. On August 30, 2016, it passed to its current owner. What stands out here is the consistency: no fragmentation, but a logical progression. All ownership records are present and form a complete, coherent whole.

Since 2000, the maintenance history has been fully documented within the Porsche network. The invoices, included with the photo set, follow the car through the years and reflect a consistent approach. Nothing excessive, but precise — and that is exactly where their value lies. The most recent service, carried out at Porsche Maastricht, aligns seamlessly with this continuity. Brake fluid was replaced, wiper blades and tires were renewed, and a major service was performed including six new spark plugs, an air filter, and engine oil. The timing belt was replaced, the braking system inspected, and the brake pads checked. In addition, two gas struts were replaced, the air conditioning system was inspected, and the condenser renewed. There is a certain naturalness to these interventions. No corrections, no catch-up work — simply maintenance as it should be. The 964 Turbo itself remains a car of contrasts. Compact in form, yet intense in experience. The build-up of turbo pressure, the mechanical gear changes, the direct response — all contribute to a driving experience that has become increasingly rare today.
