This unique creation was born in the workshops of Habermann-Performance, a German builder internationally renowned for its handcrafted custom motorcycles and proprietary frame designs. With the Baal, the objective was never simply to build a motorcycle, but to create a sculpture in steel, aluminium and mechanical perfection. A machine in which engineering serves design, without ever compromising its functionality.
From the very first glance, the Baal makes it clear that it exists beyond any conventional category. Its dramatically stretched proportions, exceptionally low riding position, flowing frame architecture and seemingly endless Springer front end create a silhouette instantly recognisable as a Habermann-Performance creation.
At the centre of the design is a fully handcrafted Habermann-Performance Rockstar frame, manufactured entirely in-house. Every component surrounding this structure was developed with a single objective: absolute visual purity.
Virtually all wiring has been seamlessly integrated into the construction, directing attention exclusively towards the motorcycle’s essential elements. Only where technically unavoidable do lines remain visible, carefully finished with braided steel coverings that complement the overall design language.
This philosophy results in an exceptionally minimalist appearance, allowing the motorcycle’s mechanical architecture to take centre stage without distraction.
At the heart of the Baal lies a powerful 1,688 cc (103 cubic inch) S&S V-Twin, paired with a six-speed transmission and belt drive. Around this drivetrain, Habermann-Performance created a composition in which every mechanical component remains visible and contributes to the motorcycle’s visual identity.
The exclusive Habermann Springer front fork, single-sided rear wheel setup, custom-designed wheels and integrated pulley brake system all demonstrate the level of engineering invested in this creation. Each element serves not only a functional purpose but also contributes to the artistic expression of the motorcycle.
One of the Baal’s most remarkable design features can be found at the rear. The sculptural rear fender was conceived as far more than a bodywork element, seamlessly integrating the turn signals and tail light into a single elegant structure. The result is one of the purest and most minimalist rear-end designs ever executed on a custom motorcycle.
The finish itself transcends traditional paintwork. For the Baal, Habermann-Performance entrusted the artistic treatment to Fiorese Design, whose airbrush techniques and hand-finished detailing transform the frame and bodywork into a rolling work of art.
Rather than overshadowing the motorcycle’s engineering, the finish enhances its character while highlighting the sophistication of its construction.
