The MB Cycles “Deep Glide” is a unique one of one creation by Martin Becker of MB Cycles Heidelberg. Completed and delivered in early 2026, the motorcycle remains in virtually new condition today.
It is based on the proven Harley Davidson Softail platform, which was completely reworked by Martin Becker according to his own vision. The result is a distinctly low slung and minimalist custom motorcycle, with particular attention paid to engineering, proportions and quality of finish.
Only one Deep Glide exists. The motorcycle was conceived and built as an individual project and is not part of a series or limited production run. This unique character is an essential part of its identity.
One of its most distinctive features is the extremely low lay frame stance. The Thunderbike air ride suspension allows the motorcycle to be lowered completely when parked, until the frame rests directly on the ground. For riding, the suspension raises the motorcycle back to the desired ride height.
The Deep Glide is finished in Racing Green, complemented by dark mechanical elements and 21 inch five spoke Kodlin wheels finished in Matte Bronze. At the front, the particularly wide 21 x 5.5 inch setup contributes significantly to the motorcycle’s distinctive proportions and appearance.
The remaining components were selected with equal care. The Deep Glide is equipped with Brembo brakes, an RSD handlebar by Roland Sands Design with internally routed wiring, and a stainless steel 2 into 1 exhaust system by Rick’s Motorcycles. Components from BDL and Santee are also fitted.
The minimalist approach continues with the compact fuel tank, bespoke solo seat, exposed rear section and discreet LED lighting integrated between the front forks. Every element has been carefully executed while preserving the clean yet distinctive character of the motorcycle.
Despite its radical custom design, the Deep Glide is TÜV approved and suitable for use on public roads. It is therefore not simply a showpiece, but a fully functional motorcycle designed to be ridden and enjoyed.
As the Deep Glide was only completed in 2026, it has not yet been featured in specialist motorcycle magazines or major editorial publications. The motorcycle therefore remains at the very beginning of its story.
Above all, the Deep Glide reflects Martin Becker’s individual approach to custom motorcycle building. Far removed from series production, it is a motorcycle conceived and built as a single, individual creation, expressing his distinctive style, technical choices and attention to detail throughout.
For a collector, the significance of this motorcycle lies not only in its components or technical specifications, but above all in its provenance and individuality. This is an authentic one of one creation by Martin Becker, with no second example in existence.
